Percentage is a way of expressing a number as a fraction of 100. It is denoted using the symbol %. The word percentage means "per hundred".
Formulae:
- Percentage = (Value / Total Value) × 100
- Value = (Percentage × Total Value) / 100
- If A is x% more than B, then B is (x / (100 + x)) × 100 % less than A.
- If A is x% less than B, then B is (x / (100 − x)) × 100 % more than A.
